porttracker Sync Modules
qsync - porttracker for VitalQIP
porttracker can be used as a standalone appliance or derive considerable additional benefits by adding a sync module to feed information automatically into your existing network management tool so that it can be accessed in a familiar environment by your operational staff.
The key to porttracker’s qsync module development is the link between porttracker and n3k and through n3k, with Alcatel-Lucent. These relationship have ensured that porttracker has been developed with VitalQIP networks in mind and its synchronisation module enables viewing of all VitalQIP ports in one place.
- Adds valuable switch port detail to VitalQIP UDF object records, including MAC address, switch name, Slot/port, link speed/duplex, VLAN info, last seen times
- Adds VLAN management information into VitalQIP
